Bloodwood Slab Box

Woods: Bloodwood, Soft Maple

This bloodwood box is made using miter joinery. The sides and bottom of the box are made of soft maple while the top is made of Bloodwood. If you've never seen bloodwood you might think that the box top has been stained. In fact, that is the natural color of the wood. In addition to its brilliant color, bloodwood is also very hard and heavy.

The box has been finished with an oil and varnish blend.
